The NFL has accomplished quite a feat: they’ve helped to make American football the most popular sport in the country despite the game being incredibly complicated for new fans.
Well, with the Super Bowl less than two weeks away and plenty of new fans eager to check out the sport on its biggest stage, now is the time to get a little refresher on what the heck a down is and why a score is worth six points instead of logically being worth one.
